- Show number of registered throws
- Available in all game types but the primary use is in "Score a sheet" games where you can't see throws other than those for the current player. If a throw is registered to the wrong player you will get an imbalance in the number of throws between players and it is easy to see if you have the number of throws visible.
- In "Score a sheet" games the number of throws is displayed together with the name/sheet sum and is visible regardless of who is the current player.
- In standard games the number of throws is displayed together with the total sum for the player.

"Current player" can be manually changed by tapping on the player name. The auto advance feature can be used to automatically advance to the next player when a throw is registered.

- Allow saved throws
- The default setting in Yatzy and Yahtzee/Kniffel is to allow a maximum of 3 throws in a round and you are not allowed to save unused throws. In Maxi Yatzy the default setting is to allow unused throws to be saved and used in a later round (allowing for more than 3 throws). You can change the default behavior here.
-
Yes - Players are allowed to save throws and use in later rounds.
In the popups where you register the result of a throw there will be a counter showing the total number of saved throws and +/- buttons to add/remove throws. The number of saved throws are shown in the protocol to the left of the player's summary (the value within square brackets like "[2]")- For play with physical dice the player is responsible for registering the correct number of saved throws and not to make more throws than what the saved throws counter says. In this case the app is simply an aid in keeping track of the number of saved throws.
- For in-app dice play the app automatically keeps track of saved throws and allows for additional throws in later rounds. You can change the number of saved throws using the +/- buttons in the registration popups but normally that shouldn't be necessary.
- No - The players are not allowed to save throws.
-
Yes - Players are allowed to save throws and use in later rounds.
- Auto advance player on entry
- This setting can make the game smoother by automatically switching to the next player when a throw is registered. A switch is made only after a registration that cause a real change to the protocol - i.e. if you tap to open a popup and close it without any registration, no automatic switch will be made.
You can always switch player manually whenever you want regardless of this setting. If you have a delayed switch, any tap on the screen will disable the countdown to the switch. If you e.g. realize that you made the wrong entry you can simply tap to correct that before the switch is made. If a switch is made before you can correct a wrong entry you can simply tap your name to activate your sheet again and make the correction.
- Manually - You always have to switch player manually.
- Immediately - Next player is immediately activated.
- After 1 second - Next player is activated 1 second after a registered throw.
- After 2 seconds - Next player is activated 2 seconds after a registered throw.
- After 3 seconds - Next player is activated 3 seconds after a registered throw.
The remaining settings are saved per game type
(Note: Many of these settings exist because the different game types by default require different settings. When you select a game type the default settings for that type will be set, and you only need to change things if you disagree with the default settings)
