- version 2.0.2
-
- Key Commands for localized characters on non-US keyboards are handled correctly. (Windows)
- Bug fixes and performance enhancements.
- version 2.0.0
-
- The plugin is now available for Mac.
- Automatic Cubase folder detection for Cubase AI/LE/Elements should now work as expected.
- Improved handling of key commands on non-US keyboards (Windows only).
- Better correlation between key command names in Cubase and in the plugin (unfortunately only in English).
- The possibility to enable extended logging is now exposed in the button editor (as a global setting affecting all plugin buttons).
- Midi port names can now be changes.
- Some bug fixes and minor design changes in the editor.
- version 1.4.6
-
- It is now possible to use multiple Generic Remotes in Cubase.
If you have a large number of definitions in your Generic Remote setup or just want to organize things better you can create any number of Generic Remote devices in Cubase and e.g. have Mixer functions in one of them, transport functions in another and so on.
Please see Advanced Configuration for details.
- Bug fix for a crash if Cubase files include any of the characters $ €
- version 1.4.5
-
- If a Cubase file (Key Commands or Generic Remote commands) included any of special characters ˆ ¤ ½ ` the plugin failed to read the file. This is now corrected.
- A Cubase action placed in a Multi Action or Multi Action Switch could fail. This is now corrected but Cubase actions in Multis have some limitations - please see the Multi Actions section for more details.
- version 1.4.4
-
- The Key Command action did not handle all key combinations correct. In particular key sequences including the Alt key and key sequences including arrow keys failed. This is now fixed.
- Cubase folder detection logic is changed (for systems with multiple Cubase versions installed). The highest installed version should be detected but previously it could sometimes use the latest used version instead.
- File and status management has improved file change detection for Cubase files and describes potential problems better in the status dropdown for the action.
- Changes to the 'StreamDeckCubaseUserSettings.xml' file now take effect immediately! Previously you needed to restart the Stream Deck process in order for changes to be activated, but now this is automatic and immediate.
- The only instance of the 'StreamDeckCubaseUserSettings.xml' file that is accessed is now the one in your Documents folder (if present). The file in the plugin folder is only available as a template and is never accessed by the plugin.
- version 1.4.3
-
- For some odd reason Cubase saves special characters (like "êñü") in a format that is not compatible with XML standards. Because of this, the plugin could crash when reading configuration files for non-English versions of Cubase or when something (macros, VSTs etc) includes such special characters.
This is now fixed.
- At computer startup, Stream Deck could be started before the Midi channels were available in the computer and the connection to the Midi channels failed. The plugin now retries the Midi channel connections and automatically connects when the channels are available.
- Better value tracking where controls keep their current status when switching profiles or folders.
- A problem reading Cubase files due to file lock is fixed (the fix in previous version did not work as planned in non-English computers).
- Performance enhancements are made.
