The Yatzy Protocol app is free to use and have an in-app purchase to get a "Premium" version that goes beyond being just a protocol for a single device.
- Information Collection and Use
The app does not in itself collect any information at all.
Unity (the game engine used) collect some or all of the following information about your device: unique device identifiers (e.g., IDFV for iOS devices and Android ID for Android devices); IP address; country of install (mapped from IP address); device manufacturer and model platform type (iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, etc.) and the operating system and version running on your system or device; language; CPU information such as model, the number of CPUs present, frequency, and instruction set support flags; the graphics card type and vendor name; graphics card driver name and version (e.g., “nv4disp.dll 126.96.36.199”); which graphics API is in use (e.g., “OpenGL 2.1” or “Direct3D 9.0c”); amount of system and video RAM present; current screen resolution; version of the Unity Editor used to create the game; sensor flags (e.g., device support for gyroscope, touch pressure or accelerometer); application or bundle identification (“app ID”) of the game installed; unique advertising identifiers provided for iOS and Android devices (e.g., IDFA or Android Ad ID); and a checksum of all the data that gets sent to verify that it transmitted correctly.
- Log Data
In a case of an error in the app, the Unity game engine collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.
- Cookies and local files
This app does not use “cookies” but the current game state is saved in local files. These files are never sent to any service provider or third party company.
- Service Providers
This app support multiple languages, and the language support update rely on data fetched from a Google Drive. In a language update request, no personal or device information is sent.
The only personal information handled by the app is the player name as entered by the player in the protocol header. These names are stored in the local files as a part of the saved game information and is never sent to any service prover of third party company.
- Links to Other Sites
- The app connects to a Google Drive to automatically handle language data download. No data is uploaded to this Google Drive.
- Help pages for the app are stored on the developers website.
- A link to Unity Analytics is provided for users to view/opt out of data collection.
- Apart from these links, the app does not contain links to other sites that can be triggered by the user.
- Children’s Privacy
This app is suitable for children of any age. No personal information is collected and no ads are displayed. No images or texts that might be offensive to children are used.
